Deaf Vermonters Advocacy Services (DVAS) is an agency that was officially established in 2000. They are an advocacy agency culturally and linguistically designed to meet the specific needs of Deaf, Deaf/Blind, and Hard of Hearing victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. DVAS provides direct services to victims, gives support to survivors, offers training to professionals, educates the Deaf and hearing community, and works on collaborating with local agencies.
