The mission of Casa Fortaleza is to organize the Spanish communities for the eradication of all forms of sexual violence through education and outreach and to provide counseling, empowerment, support, and education about sexual violence to Spanish-speaking survivors in Central New Mexico.
Casa Fortaleza is an agency dedicated to providing support services that include a broad understanding and treatment of the life experiences of individuals and families affected by sexual violence. Our services are aimed at recognizing the needs of our clients as well as empowering and respecting their self-determination during their time of need.
Project Sakinah initiates and nurtures community efforts nationwide to grow healthy families that protect our women and children – and men too – from neglect and homes broken by violence. Project Sakinah envisions a Muslim community free of domestic violence where families can live healthy and productive lives.
